JOSKO Produkte – Always one idea ahead of the game

JOSKO Produkte, founded 35 years ago, is based in Ingelheim am Rhein and is in the second generation of family ownership. The company has its roots in the invention of the ironing pad in the 1970s. This product is still manufactured in Germany today and millions have been sold in over 30 countries around the world. This success was followed by a host of new ideas and inventions for the household.
The company's core business is now mainly focused on the international trade in kitchen products. However, JOSKO Produkte still manufactures its own products in the tradition of genuine quality and fine engineering "made in Germany".
These include high quality, hand-cast aluminium frying pans with a patented base system, which have won awards at international innovation fairs, and “Spätzle” sieves that make light work of preparing the famous German noodle speciality. JOSKO also takes its role in protecting the environment very seriously. For example, the permanent baking liner developed by the company is a is fibre-glass mat that replaces the endless rolls of standard baking paper that would otherwise be simply used and discarded – once and for all. The Polly-Toll is a cleaning pad that works like an eraser against dirt – another environmentally friendly product in the company's portfolio that works completely without the need for chemicals.
JOSKO has participated at international trade and sales fairs for over 30 years. The countless contacts established at these fairs over the decades allow the company to serve its customers and maintain a sales network that extends to almost every continent on the planet. Of these, "Ambiente" in Frankfurt am Main – an event organised by Messe Frankfurt GmbH – is one of the annual highlights. With 4,500 exhibitors, it is the world's largest consumer goods fair.
From 13 – 16 October 2010, JOSKO Produkte will be represented at "interior lifestyle" at the Shanghai Exhibition Center (SEC) as part of the special event "German Living" run by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). This exhibition will exclusively feature German companies that manufacture high quality German consumer goods and have earned a reputation for outstanding design and creativity. The theme will be a "typical German day". Visitors will have the opportunity to touch and experience what it means to live a German lifestyle. |
